An unprecedented drought in California is prompting policymakers, researchers, water agencies, and other advocates to look for innovative approaches to manage dwindling freshwater resources with increased demand. As part of our Master's Group Project for the Bren School of Environmental Science & Management, our team was asked by Santa Barbara Channelkeeper to develop a portfolio of water supply options for the South Coast of Santa Barbara County. Ultimately, our project will provide critical data and analyses to support a long-term, sustainable water supply for the region.

Generous financial support for this project was provided by the James S. Bower Foundation.
